A tribute and memory

Created by Michael 4 years ago

Ursula was rooted in her family life but that family spread from her nuclear family down the generations and outwards to embrace all who came into contact with her, the children she taught, her friends and neighbours, trades people. She was interested in all, patient and caring to all.
She was also an excellent cook which was evident at the lavish catering at gatherings of family and friends at Rathgar Avenue. She combined the cooking and caring for me on one occasion when she told me she had tried to get Sheila to watch whilst she cooked the meal ‘so that you can cook something nice for Michael’. Sheila said yes, yes enthusiastically … and carried on taking great interest in the pictures and ornaments.

Thanks for trying Ursula.I have such fond memories of you.
